Hey there readers, my name is Tenae, I am 26 years old and I am a final year medical student.
Confession – I initially started writing a personal journal (privately) as a way to help reflect and deal with the medical conditions I have recently been personally diagnosed with, as well as to have a space to explore the complexities of the life of a medical student.
butttttt for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to use a social and artistic platform for documenting my journey through medicine and beyond, and for having a space to share medical and scientific knowledge…. but I have never had the courage to do it publicly!
Nevertheless, I have finally grown a pair of ovaries and decided to do such a thing!
By sharing and making my entries public I am hopeful it will shed light on various medical conditions, open up discussions and spread awareness, at the same time as allowing myself this creative outlet for divulging the ever so peculiar events and stories of my life!
